For the second year in a row, The Island in Pigeon Forge has been ranked as the 6th Best Amusement Park in the US and the 9th Best Amusement Park in the World according to TripAdvisor.
TripAdvisor’s list is determined by an algorithm based on quantity and quality of reviews as well as members’ rating. This means that we achieved this ranking solely by the opinion of our guests who visit us day in and day out at The Island, and we are filled with gratitude.
What are a few things that make The Island a top-rated amusement park?
1. Free Parking, Free Admission
The Island is different from a traditional amusement park in that we are not a gated attraction. This means, to the benefit of our guests, that you can come visit us without committing to paying an entrance fee. You only pay for what you want to do once you arrive. This allows you to truly customize your experience based on the time frame you have, the ages and interests of those in your group and your budget.
In addition, parking at The Island is also free. Complimentary trams will pick guests up in an adjacent parking lot and bring them to the front of our property at no charge.
2. All-in-One Vacation
Eat, shop, play, stay. You can do it all here at The Island. We have big brand and boutique retail shops, unique restaurants and eateries, one-of-a-kind amusements and two Margaritaville lodging properties – The Margaritaville Island Hotel & Margaritaville Island Inn. Come to The Island for a day trip, or stay a whole week and never have to leave! The options are endless.
3. Ever-Changing
We take pride in creating new and unique experiences for our guests – from new shopping options to fresh menu items and exciting rides. Every year, we try to offer world-class events and new offerings to keep things interesting for repeat visitors. This year, we announced we will be partnering with Dynamic Attractions out of Orlando to build a flying theatre ride that will simulate flying over different landmarks in the United States.
