Enter To Win The Design-A-Saurus Coloring Contest

The dinosaurs are stomping back into Pigeon Forge—and this time, we need YOUR help to welcome them!

To celebrate the return of our Free Jurassic Adventure on March 2, 2026, The Island is launching the Design-A-Saurus Coloring Contest. We are looking for one creative student in Kindergarten through 5th Grade to design the look of our newest prehistoric family member.

This isn’t just a chance to win a prize; it’s a chance to make history. The Grand Prize winner will have their unique coloring design professionally painted onto a life-sized dinosaur that will be on display at The Island all summer long!

How It Works

Download the coloring sheet, let your creativity roar, and submit your entry for a chance to win. Five finalists will be selected and receive a $250 gift card for school supplies for their classroom. The finalist who gets the most online votes will win the Pigeon Forge Grand Prize Vacation Getaway!

Print the coloring sheet and use crayons, markers, colored pencils—whatever sparks your imagination!

Color Your Dinosaur

Get creative! Design the most vibrant, unique, or realistic dinosaur you can imagine. Make sure the finished sheet is clearly legible and ready to be photographed or scanned.

Submit Your Entry

Complete the online entry form and upload a clear photo or scan of your masterpiece to enter. Submissions may also be mailed to the following address and postmarked by Jan. 27, 2026. Download the Entry Form

Contest Dates

• January 6: Contest Starts

• January 22 (Midnight EST): Submission Deadline

• January 23: The Island's Dinosaur Keepers select the Top 5 Finalists

• January 23-27: Vote for your favorite Finalist!

• January 27(Midnight EST): Voting ends 

• February 16: The Grand Prize Winner is announced! 

The Grand Prize

Five finalists will each receive $250 to be used for their classroom (public, private, or homeschool). And the finalist who receives the most online votes will win a Pigeon Forge Grand Prize Vacation Getaway. 

Grand Prize Includes

• Four 48-Hour Unlimited Rides Wristbands, including The Island Ropes Course

• Four one-time passes to SkyFly: Soar America 

• $200 in dining gift cards ($50 Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, $50 Mellow Mushroom, $50 Timberwood Grill, $50 Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Restaurant)

• $200 Shopping Card

• Two-night stay at Margaritaville Island Inn (Transportation not included)
