Looking for a safe, fun, and festive place to celebrate Halloween in the Smokies? Grab your costumes and bring the whole crew to The Island in Pigeon Forge on Saturday, October 31, 2026!

Whether you are local to East Tennessee or spending a fall weekend getaway in the mountains, Halloween night at The Island is packed with treats, nighttime thrills, and family-friendly entertainment from sunset until late evening.

Best of all? Admission and parking are completely FREE.

Sights in the Sky & on the Water

As the sun sets over Pigeon Forge, The Island transforms with festive seasonal sights:

• Halloween Light Shows on The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel: Look 200 feet into the night sky to catch our all-new, custom Halloween lighting sequences. Colorful patterns and seasonal hues will illuminate The Island.

• Halloween Hits on the Island Show Fountain: Gather around the Island Show Fountain to see synchronized water and light shows set to your favorite monster-inspired tunes.

Free Trick-or-Treating (5:00 PM – 7:30 PM)

Kick off your evening with a candy quest! Little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses can stroll through and collect sweet treats from participating Island shops, restaurants, and attractions.

It is a walkable, safe, and family-focused trick-or-treating experience where grown-ups and kids alike are encouraged to dress up and get into the holiday spirit.

Halloween Dance Party with DJ Corey (8:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

Once your trick-or-treat bags are full, keep the party going over at the Margaritaville Restaurant Courtyard!

Starting at 8:00 PM, DJ Corey takes over the sound system, spinning monster anthems, upbeat Halloween party hits, and high-energy dance favorites that will have toddlers, teens, and parents moving under the string lights.

Community Costume Contest & Showcase (9:00 PM)

Got a standout costume? Show it off! At 9:00 PM, take a break from dancing to join or watch our costume contest.

• Open to Everyone: Anyone dressed up can join the lineup. We will group contestants into age categories (plus group/family themes!) so everyone gets their moment to shine.

• Island Prizes: Category winners will take home exciting prize packages filled with goodies, gift cards, and passes from Island retailers, restaurants, and attractions!

Make a Night of It: Rides, Sweets & Fall Fun

Between the shows and the dance party, make time to explore everything else happening at The Island:

• Night Rides on the Parkway: Hop into an enclosed gondola on The Wheel for bird's-eye views of Pigeon Forge, or brave Twist 'N Shout and the Spinning Parrots Coaster under the night sky.

• Autumn Treats: Stop by our bakeries and sweet shops for candied apples, warm seasonal cider, cookies, and fresh fudge.

• Autumn’s GLOW Photo-Ops: Stroll through the glowing pumpkin and maple-leaf lantern displays throughout for the perfect festive family photo.
