Always Free to Attend & Participate! As always, parking and admission at The Island are 100% free. Registration for participating artists is also completely free—simply sign up in advance to secure your sidewalk square!

This year’s artists are invited to bring their favorite tales to life. From long-told fairy tales and beloved storybook legends to magical kingdoms, mythical creatures, enchanted forests, and completely original fantasy worlds, every sidewalk square will mark the beginning of a brand-new adventure.

What to Expect as a Visitor

Chalkfest is a full day of festive family fun at The Island, voted Best Destination in the 2026 Best of Pigeon Forge Awards:

• Witness Artistic Magic: Walk the paths throughout the day to watch artists bring intricate details, vibrant colors, and mind-bending 3D illusions to life from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

• Cast Your Vote: Be part of the competition! Pick your favorite artwork on-site and help determine this year's winning artists.

• Enjoy The Island: Pair the event with 80+ unique shops, mouthwatering dining, family rides, and the signature Island Show Fountain.

• Celebrate Awards at 5:30 PM: Gather at the Ole Smoky Moonshine Stage in the evening to hear the fan vote results and celebrate the winners during our live awards ceremony!
