The Size Debate: Scientists love to argue about exactly how big I was! Some fossils say I was 10 feet long, while others suggest I could grow up to 26 feet long! That’s a pretty big difference, isn't it? Let’s just agree that I am huge.

A Venomous Secret: I have a very special claim to fame. Like my lizard cousins today, I most likely had venom glands in my mouth. That would make me the largest venomous creature in history!

A Real Aussie: I lived alongside giant kangaroos and wombats. It was a wild neighborhood!

What Did I Eat?

I am a top predator! I enjoyed a smorgasbord of large mammals, birds, snakes, and other reptiles. I wasn't picky—if it moved, it was probably on the menu. But don’t worry, today I’m just here to soak up some sun and see the sights at The Island.

Because I am a reptile and not a dinosaur, my legs sprawl out to the sides (like a lizard) instead of being right under my body (like a T-rex). This helps me slither through the grass quietly before I say... Crikey!
