The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel is the new must-see attraction in Pigeon Forge. Towering 200 feet-tall, the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel sits at the foot of the most visited National Park in the United States–Great Smoky Mountain National Park. As the centerpiece to the Island in Pigeon Forge, it stands as one of the tallest attractions in the Southeast!
Making its maiden turn on June 21, 2013, the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel at the Island in Pigeon Forge provides riders an unparalleled view of the world famous Smoky Mountains in comfortable, all-glass gondolas that seat up to 8 guests. Bring your family to experience Pigeon Forge like never before and get an aerial view of one of our nation’s treasures. The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel opens at 10 a.m. daily.

Admission tickets are available at the Ticket Center adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel entrance. All prices are per person. (Persons under 42″ must be accompanied.)

Weather/ Refund Policy:
The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel will operate in most weather conditions. Only extreme weather such as high wind speeds and/or local lightning may cause the attraction to temporarily shut down. In the event of extreme weather, your admission will remain valid until the attraction reopens. If the attraction remains closed for the day, a full refund will be issued at the Ticket Center.
