Everything You Need to Know about The Island’s Halloween Carnival

The Island in Pigeon Forge’s Halloween Carnival is this Saturday, October 29th. As the date is fast approaching, we know you have questions. What time is the costume contest? Is it for all ages? Where do I sign up? When can we trick-or-treat? What’s a candy map? When is the fire show? Yes, we said fire show.

Well, look no further, as we are here to help! We are giving you all the details so that you can join us this Saturday for one of our favorite nights of the year!

  1. Costume Contest

Every year, we celebrate our guests and their creativity by hosting a costume contest. This year, guests must register beforehand at the Ole Smoky Moonshine stage between 5:00 PM and 6:15 PM. We have six different age categories and a family/group category. Each category will have a winner who will receive a prize! Remember, you can only enter one category! If you registered, be sure to show up at the stage at 6:30 to begin the contest.

The categories for the costume contest are as follows:

  • Ages 0-2
  • Ages 3-5
  • Ages 6-10
  • Ages 11-15
  • Ages 16-20
  • Ages 21+
  • Family/Group

 

  1. Trick-or-Treating

If you plan at trick-or-treating at the Halloween Carnival, be sure to pick up a Candy Map at designated locations throughout The Island. Forgot to pick one up at the front of the property? They can be found at each candy stop! Guests can trek throughout The Island by following the map to get treats. You will receive a stamp and a treat at each stop. Trick-or-treating is only during the hours of 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, October 29th, 2016.

  1. Entertainment

We wanted to offer our guests an unforgettable experience this year, so we are bringing in circus acts and entertainers that are sure to leave you entertained! We’ve got everything from acrobats to aerialists, stilt-walkers and living statues. Don’t forget to watch our fire show at the end of the night! See the detailed schedule below to help plan your evening!

  1. Photos

We know how important creating memories is, so we wanted to make sure our guests can take away a photo to commemorate the evening. This year, we will have a photo booth available from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Have your photo taken with friends and family in your best costumes for FREE! You can even post it straight to Facebook to let everyone know what a great time you’re having with us! Don’t forget to use the hashtag #TheIslandPF for a chance to be featured on our page!
