New Year’s Eve Celebration BACK – Bigger Than Ever!

In a reversal that only 2020 could bring, The Island in Pigeon Forge will proceed with its annual New Year’s Eve Celebration.

After receiving a tremendous amount of guest feedback following last week’s cancellation announcement, The Island officials have obtained all necessary permits and have a plan for the 23- acre entertainment destination’s annual New Year’s Eve Celebration on December 31 that includes social distancing measures for guests.

“We are excited to announce that not only will the 2020 New Year’s Eve Celebration take place as originally scheduled, but it will feature the necessary safety protocols for an event of this type,” said David Wear, Vice President of Operations for The Island. “Everyone knows that The Island likes to think big when it comes to our events, so we have taken this opportunity to relocate our annual celebration to a large portion of the Pigeon Forge Municipal Lot (located between The Island and the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge).
